Victoria Island field guide

The old trade routes, written down properly.

FM1 rooms, KPQ runs, clean BWG, Chaos 10%, junk-item barter — the vocabulary is old, but the market is player-to-player. This guide keeps the useful etiquette and drops the claims the board cannot honestly make.

One board, four lanes

What players actually trade.

The old hub had the same four ideas: currency, gear, leveling, and player services. The difference is who owns the inventory — every listing below belongs to a player, not the platform.

Meso exchange

Player-set lots, not a house rate.

Sellers post the lot size, the price, and the delivery window. Buyers compare the board and fund escrow. The marketplace never owns the mesos and never sets a spread.

Crafting & scroll bazaar

Clean BWG, Pan Lids, Chaos 10%, Greater 10%.

Gear listings are written by the player who owns the item. Ask for the slot count, scroll history, and a screenshot before you buy. The listing should say exactly what is included.

Victoria Island leveling

KPQ, Ant Tunnel, Forgotten Hollow.

Leveling listings name the route, the level band, and the party size. Sellers set the window; buyers confirm the character and the handoff before releasing escrow.

Community freelance hub

Hire a player for the run you cannot solo.

Quest runs, crafting help, party quests, and other player services live on the same board. Every service order follows the same escrow path as a meso or gear trade.

Trade routine

The five-step handoff.

A good trade is boring: the same room, the same character, the same amount, and a record both sides can read. The board's escrow flow is built around that routine.

The money side is protected

The buyer funds escrow before the seller delivers. The seller cannot withdraw the funded amount. The buyer's release, or a reviewed dispute, is what moves it.

  1. 01

Agree on the room before the trade

Put the channel, room, and character name in the order note. If the listing says FM1, meet in FM1 — not in a private map the other side picked after payment.

  2. 02

    Use the junk-item barter

The old etiquette still works: put up a common drop such as a Snail Shell or Mushroom Cap so the trade window is bilateral and the log is not empty. Confirm the exact meso or item amount before accepting.

  3. 03

    Keep the order room open

Do not move payment or release to a private Discord DM. The order timeline is the record the board operator reads if something goes wrong.

  4. 04

    Confirm only after the handoff

Check the character, the item, and the amount in the trade window. Release escrow only when the thing you paid for is actually in hand.

  5. 05

    Dispute instead of guessing

If the delivery is short, late, or different from the listing, open a dispute before releasing. Escrow freezes and the order is reviewed against the listing, delivery note, and timeline.

Glossary

The words the old board used.

Keep the shorthand, but keep it honest. These definitions describe what a listing should mean — not a guarantee about what will drop in game.

FM1

Free Market Channel 1, the old default meeting point for meso and gear trades. A listing should name the exact room or map, not just the channel.

BWG

Brown Work Gloves, a classic low-level glove base. A clean BWG and a scrolled BWG are different products; the listing must say which one it is.

KPQ

Kerning Party Quest. Leveling sellers often advertise a fixed number of runs, a level band, and a party size.

Ant Tunnel

The Sleepywood dungeon route. It is a leveling location, not a delivery guarantee; the seller sets the route and the window.

Forgotten Hollow

A Victoria Island hunting route used for level bands and quest runs. Ask which maps and how many hours are included.

Chaos 10%

A scroll type. The percentage is part of the item description, not a promise about the outcome of using it.

Greater 10%

Another scroll family. Buyers should confirm the exact scroll name, quantity, and whether it is a bundle or a single scroll.

Junk item

A low-value common drop used to make a trade window bilateral. It is etiquette and a paper trail, not a payment method.

2nd job

The level 30 job advancement. A leveling listing may include the advancement quest or stop before it; read the scope.

Ossyria

The continent beyond Victoria Island. If a listing depends on a later content phase, the seller should say so before you fund the order.

Safety & risk

The honest version, again.

The old copy promised a tax-free, scam-proof, five-minute market. That was marketing. This is the version the board can actually stand behind.

No marketplace can guarantee a ban-free trade. Read the risk disclosure, decide for yourself, and never put account access on the table.

RMT can violate the game's terms

Trading virtual items for real money may breach Nexon's terms of service. The board does not claim immunity, and no seller can guarantee your account will not be actioned.

Never share account access

No legitimate seller needs your password, a login code, or remote access to your machine. A request for any of those is a red flag, not a delivery method.

Crypto settlement is final

A funded order is not a credit-card chargeback. The escrow ledger protects the handoff, but a completed release cannot be reversed by the payment network.

Preview escrow, real records

This build uses a preview escrow ledger and a demo transaction hash. The order, reputation, dispute, and payout records are real database records; no live funds are moved.
